The English for academic study series comprises seven separate EAP course books, covering the essential skills for English-medium study: Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing, Vocabulary, Pronunciation and Extended Writing & Research Skills. The series has been designed for students on pre-sessional and foundation courses within an IELTS range of 5.0 to 7.0.
The 2009 editions are fully revised, taking into account more than two years of feedback from the field. A new user-friendly layout helps both students and teachers navigate effectively through the units. New features include: unit summaries at the end of every unit, with opportunities for students to reflect on what they have done; a glossary of useful terms; helpful study tips; and web resources for further study, to be found on this website.
